Networking Reception for New and Returning Members: Saturday, April 29/17

Join us as we launch the weekend with a networking reception

All GPOP members attending this year’s conference and AGM are encouraged to kick off the weekend with our 2017 networking reception. If this marks your first year at the conference, you’ll find an especially warm welcome from returning members.

Please help conference organisers by dropping one of them a note on or before April 21/17 to confirm your attendance. We like to get our numbers right!

RSVP to one of the following members of our Conference and Professional Development Committee:

  • Marlene Beaulieu:  beaulieum@cnc.bc.ca
  • Nicole Blanchette: nicole.blanchette@norquest.ca
  • Cheryl McMurray: cmcmurray@fanshawec.ca

Heather Allaby

We will welcome speaker Heather Allaby, Community and Government Relations Advisor, New Brunswick Community College.  Heather’s presentation is Connections that Count: Positioning Boards and Presidents’ Offices for Strong Media, Government, and Community Relations.

One of the most important aspects of our group is the ability to share best practices and learn from each other. In order to maximise our annual opportunity to meet in person, the day will also include interactive roundtable sessions where you can share best practices, ask questions and learn from each other.
